Grace is a fifteen-year-old church singer whose angelic voice draws her into a local music competition and, soon after, the attention of a powerful media producer. Invited alone to his remote office with promises of fame, she clings to the comfort of his religious image even as his gaze and words turn unsettling. When his “mentorship” becomes a violent attempt to grope her, Grace fights back and escapes, carrying home shame, rage and disbelief. Later, seeing him celebrated as a pastor in her church, she must decide whether his hypocrisy will silence her gift or strengthen her resolve.
